We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to support our business across the Asia-Pacific region.
The ideal candidate will act as a true partner to the business, providing strategic support to key parts of the organization.

* Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with clients, vendors, and business partners.
* Transaction Support: Assist with general transaction work involving intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, compliance, and privacy matters.
* Legal Strategy: Support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures within the Legal department infrastructure.
* CORPORATE GOVERNANCE MATTERS: Support corporate governance matters, including drafting board meeting minutes and resolutions for subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide.
* Employment Law and Immigration: Provide general legal advice on various employment law matters and immigration, assessing legal risks and opportunities.
* Global Claims Management: Support global claims management matters.
* Research and Updates: Research and provide legal updates on industry-related legislation in all applicable jurisdictions.
* Outside Counsel Management: Manage outside counsel on matters as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* At least 8 years of experience as an attorney with a law firm or in-house counsel generalist role.
* Excellent legal research and writing skills.
* Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal partners up and down the corporate chain.
* Strong problem-solving skills, project management, and business acumen.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, function autonomously, and take initiative.
* Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work across domestic and global time zones.
* Experience in a Building Construction or Professional Services Industry is highly regarded.
* Speaking English as well as Mandarin or Cantonese is highly regarded.
