**The Role**The primary purpose of this role is to deliver innovative and sustainable water, wastewater and recycled water treatment process planning and design solutions for Aurecon's clients.
You will be a key member of a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' through a combination of technical knowledge, experience and innovation.
**Here are some of the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':*** Work through engineering phases from planning investigations, conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design* Develop process calculations and models* Assist in the development of process simulations, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), design documents, including reports, and specifications* Produce written reports, documents and presentations to explain engineering ideas and concepts.
* Contribute to strategic and conceptual planning investigations to identify innovative and sustainable solutions* Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs* Contribute to the development of designs by applying innovative solutions and technological developments that drive efficiency and sustainability.
* Work within study and project teams to meet scope requirements and ensure time and budget objectives are achieved* Engage and build positive relationships with existing and potential clients and stakeholders, support business development and tenders to win and deliver work for Aurecon.
## You're a curious and determined Process Engineer who wants to fast-track your technical development.
You'll bring:* Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or similar.
* Experience in or a demonstrated passion for water and wastewater treatment and sustainability* Experience working in a consultancy environment, with an understanding of project delivery, client interaction, and commercial awareness.
* Knowledge of process engineering calculations, PFDs and P&IDs* Knowledge of ADWG requirements and its applications* Knowledge and experience in potable water quality requirements and ability to interpret and analyse the water testing reports.
