A leading ASX-listed infrastructure and services business is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join its high-performing in-house legal team. This is a broad and dynamic role offering exposure to significant projects across construction, engineering, resources, and services.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be a key advisor to senior executives and project teams, providing commercial legal support across the business. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including construction, services, supply, and consultancy agreements.
- Supporting major transactions, M&A; opportunities, and tendering processes.
- Advising on disputes, litigation strategy, and regulatory issues as they arise.
- Working closely with business units on project delivery, risk management, and contract execution.
- Assisting with corporate governance and compliance initiatives as part of the broader legal remit
About You:
We are seeking a qualified lawyer with 3–7 years’ post-admission experience, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm or large corporate. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Experience in infrastructure, construction, corporate/M&A;, or regulatory advisory will be highly regarded.
