You will play a pivotal part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by delivering high-quality support services tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing person-centered care and support to customers with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
* Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development, promoting independence and autonomy.
* Encouraging community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities, fostering connections and relationships.
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
* Empowering clients to set and achieve their personal goals, celebrating successes and overcoming challenges.
About You
* Experience in disability support, aged care, or family/community services, with a passion for making a difference.
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain, demonstrating commitment to safety and well-being.
* Valid Driver's Licence, enabling efficient travel and service delivery.
* NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain), ensuring compliance and trustworthiness.
* Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, essential for building rapport and resolving complex issues.
