HammondCare Waratah is currently looking for a Part‑time Specialised Carer – Residential Carers to join our team. With a unique model of care that places residents' needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc.
* Support life engagement and residents with levels of dementia.
* Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions within your skills and competencies.
* Complete onsite orientation, buddy shifts, and work under support of registered nurses and managers.
Qualifications
* Passion for serving elderly people and desire to make a difference.
* Available to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
* Team‑player with ability to work independently and show initiative.
* Knowledge and experience of people living with dementia.
* Certification: Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care (viewed favourably).
