Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Geologist to join our Geology team at our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation. This role is ideal for a motivated geologist looking to work across drilling programs, resource modelling, and cross-functional technical projects within an operating mine environment.
Key Responsibilities
This position will involve supporting underground drilling programs, collaborating closely with our mine planning and production teams to ensure high-quality geological inputs into operational decision-making and future resource development. Your responsibilities will include:
* Plan, coordinate, and execute underground drilling programs (infill and resource extension)
* Conduct core logging, sampling, and QAQC checks to ensure data quality
* Undertake geological modelling and interpretation of the orebody
* Liaise with mine planning and production teams to ensure seamless data flow
* Assist with contractor management and supervision during drilling campaigns
* Contribute to resource estimation, reconciliation, and reporting processes
* Provide mentoring and technical support to junior geologists and field teams
* Maintain accurate and timely geological records and reports
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences, previous experience in an underground production or project geology role, and relevant skills and qualifications.
