Key Objective: This role supports the delivery of prudential reporting obligations while driving improvements across systems, processes, and data management. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, technology, and compliance—managing reporting platforms, enhancing data controls, and supporting the organisation’s transition to meet evolving APRA requirements and growth strategies. Responsibilities Oversee and administer regulatory reporting systems (including CoreBIS), ensuring efficient workflow, accurate data management, and strengthened validation and control frameworks. Manage governance of the prudential reporting process, preparing review packs, sign-off materials, and documentation of critical data lineage and controls. Maintain and uplift compliance frameworks to ensure APRA standards and internal governance requirements are consistently met. Drive improvements in reporting automation, system optimisation, and data quality, contributing to greater efficiency and insight across finance and risk functions. Collaborate with stakeholders on the development and use of reporting tools (e.g. CoreBIS, APRA Connect, and Planning Analytics for Excel). Support strategic initiatives including M&A, system upgrades, and implementation of APRA’s data collection roadmap. Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Risk, Data & Analytics) and external providers to support robust prudential reporting and system architecture. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, economics, or related fields. 5 years’ experience in financial or prudential reporting with solid knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks. Strong technical skills with reporting platforms (e.g. CoreBIS, Planning Analytics) and advanced Excel proficiency. Interest or experience in systems optimisation, reporting automation, and data quality initiatives.
