Volunteering is an important part of playgroup that benefits the families that attend and is a great way to strengthen connections with the local community. The Playgroup is for children aged 0–4 years led by our Aboriginal Resource Worker, we provide opportunities for Aboriginal families who visit us to learn about the first 3 years of a child's life and prepare them for school.
Responsibilities
* Assist the playgroup leader
* Assist with sign‐in and attendee feedback
* Help serve morning tea and tidy/clean the kitchen
* Assist with set‐up and pack‐down
* Sing songs or play music
* Start a reading corner
* Share knowledge readily
* Participate in nature play and have fun
