About Costa

Costa is Australia's leading grower, packer and marketer of premium quality fresh fruit and vegetables. We nurture our people, cultivate our growing sites and invest in ongoing research and development. All the products we grow, and sell are fresh, nutritious, unprocessed and grown on our very own farms or those of our partner growers. The Costa Berry International Category is at the forefront of genetic growing and innovation. We grow in Morocco, China and Laos, with fruit exported and sold globally.

About The Role

As the Breeding Program Administrator based in Coffs Harbour, you'll play a critical role in managing the administrative backbone of our global genetics program. You'll coordinate Plant Breeders' Rights (PBR) activities across multiple countries, manage licensing and royalty tracking, and ensure our plant assets are accurately documented and protected as they move from trial to commercialisation. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives on structure, precision, and working across complex, fast‐moving priorities.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and track PBR applications, renewals, and compliance requirements globally
* Support management of global licensing agreements and royalty reporting
* Maintain accurate records of plant varieties, trial data, and IP‐related documentation
* Manage databases tracking plant assets from breeding pipeline through to commercialisation
* Liaise with legal advisors, in‐country agents, and internal teams to keep projects on track
* Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of critical regulatory documentation
* Support process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation of SOPs

What You'll Bring

* Strong administrative and data management capability
* Advanced Excel and confidence working across databases and systems
* Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
* High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
* Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders

It would also be beneficial if the following apply to you, although this is not essential:

* Exposure to compliance, legal, or regulatory environments
* Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or plant breeding programs
* Understanding of IP, PBR, or licensing frameworks

Why Join Us

* Be part of a globally connected business working across multiple countries
* Contribute to the commercialisation of innovative berry genetics
* Work in a role that combines data, systems, compliance, and international coordination
* Opportunity to shape processes and improve systems in a growing program

Additional Information

* Location: Coffs Harbour
* Occasional domestic travel required

Selection decisions are based on merit and will be fair, equitable and free from discrimination.
