Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary liaison for clients, responding to inquiries, greeting visitors and coordinating the reception area.
* Organise and schedule appointments, conferences and meetings with clients.
* Prepare, format and process correspondence, legal documents and court forms efficiently.
* Maintain and optimise physical and electronic filing systems.
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients through various channels.
* Assist with the preparation of court documents, briefs and supporting materials.
* Contribute to the day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within a law or professional services environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a warm and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, enabling effective priority management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate typing abilities.
* Familiarity with legal software, such as Smokeball.
* Knowledge of legal terminology, family law procedures, criminal law procedures or court documentation is highly regarded.
* A proactive and detail-focused individual who prioritises high-quality work.
