About the Role
As ourSenior People & Culture Business Partner, you won’t just be managing HR processes—you’ll be a trusted advisor to our Executive and Senior Leadership teams, shaping business outcomes through people. You’ll lead a small but capable HR team, manage a diverse client portfolio, and work closely with leaders on performance, IR/ER, workforce planning, leadership development, change management, and culture.
Your impact will include:
️ Providing expert, risk-aware advice on complex people matters, including industrial relations and employee relations issues
️ Coaching and mentoring managers on performance, grievances, underperformance, and change management
️ Leading workforce planning, organisational change, and HR projects that drive strategic outcomes
️ Overseeing recruitment, workforce reporting, and the continual improvement of HR policies and processes
️ Managing your People & Culture team, driving capability and performance across the function
️ Preparing board reports and contributing to key decision-making forums
About You
You’re more than an HR generalist—you’re a trusted advisor, a capable leader, and a strategic thinker with a practical edge. You balance compliance with care, and you’re confident guiding leaders through complex people challenges.
You’ll bring:
* Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field
* At least 3 years’ experience in a senior HR advisory or business partnering role
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-level IR/ER advice in a multi-site, award-based environment
* Strong capability in coaching, performance management, and workforce planning
* Experience leading a small HR team and juggling competing priorities
* A collaborative, values-driven approach that aligns with Momentum’s mission
