The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community‐Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. About the Role
As a Kinship Case Manager you will provide dedicated hands‐on support to children and young people in statutory kinship care, helping them feel safe, connected and supported to thrive. Working closely with carers and families you will deliver holistic case management, including home visits, assessments and tailored support, while strengthening carers' capacity and cultural understanding. A key focus is ensuring children maintain strong connections to their Community and Country, improving outcomes and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
About You
You are a caring and organised professional with strong case management skills, committed to supporting children, young people and carers in kinship care. You build respectful relationships, respond to carers' needs, and promote cultural safety, ensuring children remain connected to their Community and Country while meeting reporting and compliance requirements.
Requirements
* Certificate, Diploma, or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Work and/or relevant field, or willingness to enroll and/or currently studying a relevant qualification.
* Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
* Current COVID‐19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended).
