The Role

The Content Executive will play a key role in building, amplifying and optimising integrated partnership strategies across owned and paid channels for American Express (Amex). This role focuses on delivering best-in-class content experiences that drive engagement, brand affinity, and measurable business outcomes including brand consideration, awareness and net new member growth. You will collaborate closely with internal Amex teams across Brand and Media in particular, creative partners, and media specialists across every channel to ensure content is optimised for performance and aligned with Amex's brand objectives along with their Enterprise content strategy

Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and execution of American Express' Enterprise Content Strategy across owned and paid channels.
* Assist in managing the Amex content calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities, campaign objectives and seasonal opportunities.
* Collaborate with Amex stakeholders to identify content opportunities and create greater synergy across business units.
* Ensure all content aligns with Amex brand guidelines, governance requirements and compliance standards
Content Amplification & Performance
* Work with media planning and activation teams to maximise effectiveness of content across paid and owned channels.
* Contribute recommendations on how content should be distributed, optimised and amplified based on channel best practice.
* Support delivery against the Amex Content Scorecard and broader marketing objectives.
* Identify opportunities to improve content performance through audience, channel and creative insights.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
* Build strong working relationships with Amex marketing stakeholders across Brand, Media and broader business teams.
* Collaborate with creative agencies, production partners, media owners and internal specialists to deliver integrated content initiatives.
* Participate in content planning forums and contribute to ongoing alignment across stakeholders.
* Ensure feedback and approvals are effectively managed throughout the content development process.
Project Management & Delivery
* Coordinate content workflows, timelines and approvals to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
* Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
* Support the delivery of integrated partnership activations and content-led initiatives across channels.
* Maintain clear communication across all stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Measurement & Reporting
* Monitor content performance against agreed KPIs including engagement, reach, consideration and conversion metrics.
* Prepare regular reporting and performance updates for internal teams and Amex stakeholders.
* Contribute to post-campaign analysis and recommendations for future optimisation.
* Support monthly reporting requirements and participation in the Amex Content Council.
Who You Are

Experience

* 1–2 years' experience in content marketing, sponsorships, integrated partnerships, social media, digital marketing or media.
* Experience working across multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Capability

* Understanding of content amplification and paid media ecosystems.
* Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics and platform reporting suites).
* Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into recommendations.
