We're seeking a skilled Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering high-quality food. As a Full-Time Chef, you'll be responsible for maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards, managing stock levels, and collaborating with the front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
* Manage stock levels and optimize inventory
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
* Hands-on experience cooking in Italy, an Italian restaurant, or specializing in pasta and traditional Italian recipes
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, plating, and presentation techniques
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a busy kitchen
* Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff
* Passion for using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create delicious, innovative dishes
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
* Current NSW food safety and hygiene certification
