Job Description
Acu-Tech Pty Ltd tests and evaluates mechanical systems, gathers and analyzes data, and assembles and installs mechanical components. The company supports employee incentives such as events and tools, and offers an employee assistance program for employees and their immediate families.
Responsibilities
* Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on plant facilities and machinery.
* Test and evaluate automobiles and machinery to assess performance, efficiency, and safety, including measuring parameters such as handling, fuel consumption, emissions, and electrical and hydraulic systems.
* Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls, and hydraulic power systems.
* Inspect and ensure that automobiles and machines meet quality and safety standards and specifications.
* Organize and perform routine preventative maintenance, and record/maintain reports in relevant database tools and systems.
* Consult with the team and manager on complex issues and repairs, rebuilds, and assemblies.
* Assist mechanical engineers and engineering technicians in designing mechanical equipment and plants.
* Analyze data and perform tests to assess issues and recommend appropriate solutions, including estimating machine costs and requirements.
* Ensure designs and jobs are completed within specifications and correct contract provisions.
* Ensure all activities comply with company and regulatory standards and policies.
* Collaborate to develop improved methods and modifications, providing technical support to resolve complex technical issues.
* Record and report any alterations to equipment and processes on the work management system.
* Assist the team and manager on other activities within the role required by company policies, procedures, and directives.
* Ensure safety practices are followed, including reporting incidents and hazards to the manager.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Engineering Technician role or a relevant trade certificate.
* Knowledge of inspecting and repairing diesel, gas, and electrical vehicles.
* Technically and solution‐mindful with a can‐do attitude.
* Ability to work as a team player with cross‐discipline engineers and non‐technical stakeholders.
