EL2 Strategic Design | Grant and Audits
Are you a seasoned EL2 professional with deep expertise in policy governance and complex regulatory frameworks? We are seeking a highly capable Strategic Design Officer to join a specialized team managing a critical national program.
This is a senior role focused on strategic positioning, audit integrity, and surge leadership.
The role: Strategic Design | Grants | ANAO audits
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, directly influencing policy development, audit integrity, and program delivery.
Your Senior Accountabilities Include:
* Audit and Compliance Leadership: Leading the analysis, drafting, and collation of complex materials required to inform and support the annual audit process for key program governance.
* Strategic Policy Input: Leading work to support the framework's input into broader policy priorities and providing strategic advice on policy positioning.
* Management & Grants Oversight: Leading and managing the administration of grant rounds.
* Governance Integrity: Leading complex pieces of work with minimal supervision in an environment with competing and shifting demands.

You must demonstrate:
* Policy Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of the Child Safe Framework in the broader early childhood education and care environment.
* Audit Experience: Proven experience with ANAO audits and the ability to draft complex, high-quality materials.
* Grants Acumen: A sound understanding of grant design and grant processes, particularly in high-pressure, time-sensitive settings.
* Leadership & Flexibility: The ability to lead complex pieces of work with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility and resilience amid competing demands.
