Our client is a well established hotel chain is looking for General Hospitality Staff with great customer service skills to join their hotel.
Responsibilities
* Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and presenting them with menus and beverage lists.
* Setting and arranging tables.
* Taking food and beverage orders.
* Serving food and beverages.
* Recommending wine and drinks to complement food.
* Opening bottles and pouring beverages.
* Conducting wine, beer, and spirit tastings.
* Preparing, serving, and selling cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non‐alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso‐based beverages.
* Selecting and grinding coffee.
* Clearing bars and tables and returning dishes, glasses and cutlery to the kitchen.
* Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and bars.
* Cleaning and maintaining bar service areas, coffee‐making areas and espresso machines.
* Washing glassware and arranging bottles and glasses.
* Tapping kegs and attaching supply lines, replenishing drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators.
* Collecting payments for sales and operating EFTPOS and cash registers.
* Promoting services and products.
* Stacking and displaying goods for sale.
* Preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials.
About You
* Relevant qualifications in Hospitality at certificate II or above with at least 1 year of experience; or have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
* Enthusiasm, tenacity, attention to details and a positive, engaging approach to providing high‐quality service.
* Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP, as required.
* Practice proper workplace health and safety procedures.
* Comply with relevant regulations.
* Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster.
* Well presented, punctual and reliable.
* Ability to keep your section clean and organized with a good understanding of workflow and structure.
* Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
* A passion for quality food and produce, and service.
* Current RSA and Police clearance.
Salary
Salary range $65,000-$75,000 per annum + superannuation.
