We're on the lookout for a talented and business focused Senior Associate to join our Commercial Law team in Melbourne. You will work directly with Principal, Terry Kokkinos and a team of highly skilled and dedicated lawyers.
This role offers broad exposure across several industries and client groups, including automotive, manufacturing and health.
The opportunity has a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions together with various corporate and commercial matters including commercial contracts, corporate structures and restructures, private capital raising, corporate succession planning, directors' duties, corporate governance and stakeholder agreements.
About You
You will ideally have:
* Demonstrated experience working in corporate and commercial law. In particular, M+A experience managing transactions of between $5 million and $150 million.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities facilitating strategic, commercial and tailored advice.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Outstanding attention to detail.
* A strong commitment to excellence in client service.
* Experience in delegating, mentoring and managing junior lawyers.
* An interest in business development and identifying new opportunities.
