We are seeking a trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic to join our team in Hobart.

This is an essential services industry role requiring a dedicated and reliable individual who can build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have trade qualifications as a truck mechanic - heavy commercial vehicles, demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail, complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing, and hold a HR and forklift licence (preferred).
Maintaining the fleet to a high standard is crucial in this position. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing and coordinating mechanical repairs, diagnostics and servicing of heavy vehicles, and static equipment.
This role involves working closely with regional and national fleet management as well as suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
