You will manage rapidly changing clinical situations with sound judgement, maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of care standards.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

* Provide advanced, evidence-based nursing care and serve as the primary clinical resource for your shift and unit.
* Coordinate patient flow, delegate appropriately and support the broader nursing team to deliver safe, consistent care.
* Act as a positive role model and mentor to junior nursing staff, graduate nurses and students, supporting their professional development.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits and accreditation activities in line with Ramsay standards and relevant legislation.
* Participate in departmental orientation, in-service training and clinical competency programs.
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical documentation in line with NMBA standards and Ramsay Health Care policy.
About You

* Minimum four (4) years' post-graduate nursing experience in a critical care/acute medical setting (essential).
* Demonstrated clinical leadership ability, including shift coordination and team support.
* A commitment to mentoring junior staff and contributing to a positive, learning-focused team culture.
* Sound knowledge of and participation in quality improvement processes.
* Strong time management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of customer-focused service.
* Knowledge of legislation, standards and policies relevant to nursing practice in Australia.
* Relevant post-graduate qualifications in Cardiac Care (highly regarded).
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons and weekends.
