The Opportunity
We are looking for a junior, early career level Drafter to join our current group of passionate engineers, designers and project managers. This role will be Newcastle based.
Key Responsibilities
* Import & manipulate vendor drawings/models
* Collaborate with design engineers to deliver concept and detailed design models and drawings
* Support project teams with documentation, revisions and coordination of models and drawings
* Maintain design templates and drawing standards
About You
You'll need outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes. You should have experience working in a consulting environment, delivering projects as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-office team, and a desire for autonomy, career flexibility and purpose.
Qualifications
* Enrolled in or have completed a relevant TAFE qualification: Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or Certificate IV/Diploma in Civil Construction Design
Skills and Experience
* Experience with CAD software
* Familiarity with technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail
* Well‐developed verbal and written communication skills
* Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team

Desirable
* Interest or experience in water and wastewater treatment or pipeline design
