About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Loss Adjuster Trainee in a property insurance field.
The role involves providing field-based assessments and investigations of residential insurance losses. You will be working closely with the manager and senior team members, attending site meetings together. This will involve assessing damage and causation following site visits, receiving training in report writing, and liaising with policyholders regarding their claims.
You will have the responsibility of examining claims forms, policies, client instructions, and other records to determine coverage. This will also include investigating claims by interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, and comparing claim information with evidence. Additionally, you will need to set loss reserves and control claims costs.

About You
We are looking for someone who has experience in technical property or strata claims, with the ability to assess the cause and repair of damage. You should be able to produce reports for the insurer to evaluate losses. A solid understanding of policy coverage and application is essential.
In addition, we are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with all stakeholders. As a Loss Adjuster Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the property insurance field.
