We're looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead our phone sales team, build capability, and drive the next stage of growth.
This is not a corporate middle-management role.
You will have genuine influence, direct access to senior leadership, and the ability to implement ideas quickly. If you see a better way of doing something, you'll be encouraged to make it happen.
The Opportunity
You will lead a small but experienced phone sales team responsible for both inbound and outbound sales activity. Your focus will be on driving revenue, improving conversion rates, developing your people, and creating a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. We're looking for someone who understands that great sales teams aren't built through spreadsheets alone. They're built through coaching, leadership, process improvement, and consistency.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Leading, coaching and developing a team of phone-based sales consultants
* Driving team performance against revenue, conversion, and activity targets
* Conducting regular call reviews and providing real-time coaching
* Managing inbound enquiries and outbound sales opportunities
* Identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
* Building and refining sales processes, scripts, and SOPs
* Monitoring KPIs and using data to drive decisions
* Working closely with senior leadership to support business growth
* Creating a positive, high-performance culture where people take pride in the results
What We're Looking For
* Previous Sales Manager, Team Leader, or Internal Sales Manager experience
* Experience managing inbound and outbound sales teams
* Strong coaching and people development skills
* The ability to analyse performance data and act
* A commercial mindset with a strong understanding of revenue, conversion, and margin
* Confidence in conducting call coaching and performance conversations
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Experience with CRM, helpdesk or eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Gorgias, Zendesk or similar systems
* Experience within consumer products, technology, automotive, 4WD, caravan, electrical or related industries will be highly regarded
