Role Overview
As a Retail Supervisor at Bunnings, you will be the go‐to support for the store's senior leadership team. You'll keep the energy high and the workflow smooth in your designated department, leading by example to ensure every day is a success and operations run like a well‐oiled machine.
This role offers part‐time hours (30+ per week) with the opportunity for full‐time hours for the right candidate, and flexibility to work Monday‐Friday between 6:30am and 10pm, including every second full weekend.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example, demonstrating best service practices and supporting the team to provide friendly and helpful advice to customers
* Coach the team with guidance on appropriate service behaviours
* Onboard and train new team members, providing training and induction support
* Maintain merchandising standards to meet business requirements
* Manage and coordinate stock effectively
Qualifications
* Show genuine passion for retail and customer service; compliment the store leadership team
* Previous supervising experience in a fast‐paced environment
* Open communication and genuine interest in coaching and developing others
* Ability to guide, support, coach and provide feedback to bring the best out of the team
* Results‐driven, team player who is approachable and confident
* Enthusiasm to learn about new products and keep knowledge up‐to‐date
* Knowledge in electrical, paint and or plumbing products is a bonus
* Stamina to be on your feet assisting customers during retail hours
Work Hours & Compensation
Part‐time hours (30+ per week) with possible full‐time conversion. The role requires availability Monday‐Friday 6:30am‐10pm and every second full weekend. Adult pay rate: $30.78 per hour for employees 18years and older.
