About the Role
Are you a driven, strategic thinker who thrives on building relationships and delivering results? We're looking for an ambitious, driven Business Development Manager to help fuel our growth in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building relationships, and wants to play a key role in shaping the next stage of our growth.
What You'll Do
1. Identify, pursue, and handover new business opportunities across construction & maintenance industry
2. Build strong, trusted relationships with prospective and existing clients
3. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline activity
4. Proactively source, engage, and convert new leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
5. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of quality opportunities across priority sectors
6. Conduct market research to uncover emerging trends, competitor activity, and untapped opportunities
7. Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and solutions that demonstrate clear value to prospects
8. Follow a structured outreach cadence to ensure consistent touchpoints and high conversion rates
9. Host discovery meetings and presentations with potential clients
10. Work closely with the client relations team to refine strategy, positioning, and go-to-market plans
11. Track performance metrics and continuously optimise outreach strategies
12. Represent the business at targeted industry events and proactively create networking opportunities
Skills And Experiences
What You'll Bring (Must Haves)
13. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Account Manager in QLD mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
14. A client-centric mindset with a natural ability to build rapport and exceed expectations

Nice to Have
