Senior Performance and Optimisation Engineer – Wireless
Reporting to the Manager – Network Performance (Fixed Wireless), this role focuses on driving the performance strategy of the fixed wireless network.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement optimisation strategies to meet defined KPIs.
* Analyse network data and improve processes through automation and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver performance initiatives and enhance capacity planning capabilities.
* Provide insights that support strategic decision‐making and maintain high‐quality customer experience.
* Ensure the network operates within performance thresholds.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience in telecommunications, with strong expertise in wireless access and backhaul performance, capacity management, and optimisation (TD‐LTE, 3GPP).
* Advanced analytical and data‐interpretation skills, capable of deriving actionable recommendations from complex network datasets.
* Experience in vendor management, process improvement, and driving strategic outcomes.
* Strong technical proficiency in programming, network design, optimisation tools, and data‐analytics platforms.
* Excellent problem‐solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to thrive in complex, ambiguous environments while adhering to organisational policies and safety standards.
