Responsibilities
* Deliver trauma‐informed and culturally responsive clinical services to promote the recovery, healing and wellbeing of children in Out‐of‐Home Care environments.
* Provide clinical advice and referrals, counselling and therapy to children in care.
* Support and guide carers of children in care.
* Collate and contribute to case reviews, reports and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
* Appointment may be made for any available vacancy over the next six months through the unified pool recruitment.
* Psychologist (Provisional) Operational Officer – Level1: Tertiary degree in Psychology or equivalent approved by the Psychology Board of Australia, eligible for Provisional Registration on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency register.
* Level2: Tertiary degree in Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Level3 (Endorsed): Two‐year postgraduate master's degree in Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychology or equivalent, eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and specialist endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist.
