About the Role
As our next Diesel Fitter reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high‐quality solutions and results.
* Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
* Maintain, repair and service a variety of mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently in line with Thiess and industry standards.
* Excellent diagnostic, fault‐finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
* Be highly motivated and committed to delivering quality results.
* Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard.
* Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained, ensuring a safe work environment.
* Have a good work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement, and be able to work as an individual within the maintenance team.
* Commitment to risk management and safe work.
About you
* Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent.
* Post‐trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth‐moving industry.
* Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change‐outs and servicing of heavy earth‐moving equipment.
* Current driver's licence.
* Current Standard 11 desirable.
* Commitment to a positive safety culture.
