Hussey Corp is a locally owned and operated business based in Weipa and Cairns, QLD who deliver a wide range of services expanding from Heavy Industrial Electrical, Civil Construction, Construction Project Management, Civil Concrete Construction and Plant & Equipment Hire.
Due to continued organisational growth, we are seeking an experienced Accounts receivable Officer to join our fantastic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and has a strong focus on accuracy and organisation.
This is a Monday to Friday role and is based in Cairns.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process customer invoices in line with company and client requirements
Manage recurring invoice setup and ongoing billing schedules
Process invoicing for various business units
Maintain accurate invoicing records and supporting documentation
Support accounts receivable administration activities across the business
Assist with preparation and submission of fuel tax credit claims
Coordinate customer credit account applications and supporting documentation
Maintain accurate customer account records within company systems
Support reporting and reconciliation activities as required
Upload invoices and supporting documentation to various client portal systems
About you:
Previous experience in an accounts receivable, finance administration, or similar role
Experience processing invoices and managing customer accounts
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting systems such as Xero, Simpro, or similar
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
