About the role In your new role of hatchery assistant, you will support the team in: lean and maintain hatchery equipment and machinery Help operate hatchery incubators, hatchers, and other equipment Monitor hatchery temperature, humidity, and ventilation for optimal hatching conditions Help deliver healthy chicks to production facilities in a timely manner Keep accurate hatchery records and data Observe safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working setting About you As a hatchery assistant, you will bring hands-on experience working in a rapid-paced production setting.
In addition, you will have: No previous experience necessary, training will be provided Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays Good communication and interpersonal skills Able to work well in a team environment How to Apply *Due to strict bio-security requirements, individuals living with anyone employed in another poultry business are not suitable for this role, as it poses a high risk of cross-contamination between sites.
