Be part of a world-wide renowned logistics and supply chain company in Eagle Farm, who have been operating for more than 150 years. Due to continued business growth, we are hiring an Air Freight Supervisor.
**Your new role**
- 8am - 4:30pm - Monday to Friday - additional hours expected when required
- Ensure the efficient operation of the Air Department and ensure objectives are met
- Model leadership and delegate effectively, ensure knowledge sharing amongst team
- Manage performance of team/individuals
- Supervise the efficient retrieval and processing of air documentation and freight to ensure optimum delivery times
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal/external clients/stakeholders
- Ensure customer client satisfaction and air freight requirements are met
- Ensure that shipments are registered prior to or on day of arrival
- Supervise the processing of transactions
- Take the lead on new processes in relation to "paperless processes" in AI to ensure all objectives are met into the global platform O&DM system.
- Monitor electronic customs reports. Advise overseas agents when they fail to supply data in a timely manner
- Rectify issues appear in weekly ABF compliance report for all Air cargo automation issues.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, greater than 95%
- Guide AI team to deal with all possible issues that can arise with CTOs & outside agents to avoid storage.
- Training staff to ensure they understand company liability & obligation to AU Customs
- Quote competitive DAP/DDP rates to overseas offices to assist to win ad hoc shipments.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, all aspects of procedures and or in similar role
- Previous experience with customer relationship management
- Drivers Licence

- Understand and adhere to relevant company policies and procedures regarding Work Health & Safety
