Key Duties and Responsibilities
* The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables, including but not limited to:
* Contributing to strategy and innovation for TRIM/Content Manager capabilities to increase efficiencies in delivering quality outcomes;
* Staying current and implementing industry best practices and metrics to help the team and its processes continuously improve;
* Providing technical system management of the Content Manager 25.4 system, as well as providing technical support and design to meet the needs of the Department;
* Scheduling and supervising maintenance and installation work. Ensuring that operational problems are identified and resolved;
* Applying data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of corporate operations to establish, modify and maintain data structures and associated components;
* Overseeing, investigating and resolving incidents and problems in Content Manager;
* Contributing to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including developing installation procedures for Content Manager;
* Reviewing system software updates and identifying those that merit action, tailoring software to maximise hardware functionality, installing and testing new versions of system software, investigating and coordinating for the resolution of potential and actual system issues;
* Preparing and maintaining operational documentation for system software;
* Providing technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures;
* Contributing to the scheduling, planning and implementation of maintenance, installation and testing of existing and new system software;
* Monitoring the effectiveness of installations and ensuring that appropriate recommendations for change are made;
* Fostering relationships, liaising and working closely with several technical areas within the ICT Division to ensure the optimal operation and efficiency of the system;
* Providing advice, recommending and contributing to the strategic direction of the Department's Content Manager Platform;
* Providing second-level resolver groups functions, rostered 24x7 on-call support, as well as the requirement to undertake ad-hoc and scheduled out-of-hours work. Providing out-of-hours or on-call support entails:
o Specified Personnel to be available, and in the 'required state of readiness' to perform extra duty outside of standard business hours;
o The 'required state of readiness' includes the requirement for Specified Personnel to: Attend the workplace or via online within 60 minutes of notification of the requirement to attend or as directed by the Director, Case & Information Management Systems Section.
o Maintain compliance with the Department's Professional Standards and Integrity Framework.
o Specified Personnel will be provided with a mobile telephone while on call.
o Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department's recordkeeping policy and practices.

Technical Skills
* 5+ years Records Management Systems Administration experience in Content Manager 10.1 plus
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline, and training and/or certifications in one or more of the following: Content Manager and ITIL.
* Expertise in Visual Studio, SQL Query, Windows Server operations.
* Experience in NET/.NET development, TRIM SDK.
* A good understanding of Elastic Search software.

About the Project
The Content Management (TRIM) team is responsible for the ongoing support, operation and continuous improvement of the Department's enterprise content and records management platform. The team ensures the TRIM system remains reliable, secure and compliant with records management legislation, policies and departmental requirements.
The role supports day-to-day business operations through system administration, user support, configuration, upgrades, patching and information governance activities. It also contributes to improving business processes and identifying opportunities to optimise the management of corporate information across the Department.
About the Organisation
The Content Manager / TRIM System Administrator provides specialist, end to end operational support for the department's enterprise records and information management platforms.
The role is accountable for business as usual (BAU) operations, ensuring systems are stable, optimised, and perform reliably in support of high volume, security sensitive departmental activities. This includes diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, monitoring performance, and maintaining integration stability across interconnected platforms to minimise operational disruption and risk.
The position plays a critical role in upholding regulatory compliance and information governance, ensuring records are accessible, accurate, and managed in accordance with legislative and policy requirements. Through expert system administration and risk based decision making, the role supports the department's ability to meet audit, legal, and accountability obligations.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role provides authoritative advice to business areas, technical teams, and stakeholders on records system functionality, optimisation opportunities, and compliance impacts. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, embedding best practice records management into operational processes and supporting secure, reliable access to corporate information across the Org.
Overall, this role delivers specialist capability that is essential to maintaining information integrity, supporting operational delivery, and protecting the department's legal, security, and reputational interests.
CriteriaEssential Criteria
* Availability management level 5 - Provides advice and guidance on the planning, design and improvement of service and component availability. Investigates all breaches of availability targets and service non-availability and initiates remedial activities. Develops plans for disaster recovery together with supporting processes. Manages the testing of disaster recovery plans.
* IT infrastructure level 4 - Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures. Contributes to the planning and implementation of infrastructure maintenance and updates. Implements agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines. Uses infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics. Configures tools and/or creates scripts to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure. Maintains operational procedures and checks that they are executed following agreed standards. Investigates and enables the resolution of operational issues. Provides reports and proposals for improvement, to specialists, users and managers.
* Systems installation and removal level 5 - Takes responsibility for installation and/or decommissioning projects. Provides effective team leadership, including information flow to and from the customer during project work. Develops and implements quality plans and method statements. Monitors the effectiveness of installations and ensures that appropriate recommendations for change are made.
* Problem management level 4 - Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services. Determines problem fixes and remedies. Collaborates with others to implement agreed remedies and preventative measures. Supports analysis of patterns and trends to improve problem management processes.
Desirable Criteria
* Programming/software development level 3 - Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors moderately complex programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Monitors and reports on progress. Identifies issues related to software development activities. * Systems design level 5 - Designs large or complex systems and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs. Makes recommendations and assesses and manages associated risks. Adopts and adapts system design methods, tools and techniques. Contributes to development of system design policies, standards and selection of architecture components.
Pay: $120.00 – $140.00 per hour
