See Differently with the Royal Society for the Blind is searching for a Digital Content & Communications Creator to join our Marketing & Fundraising team, who can bring powerful stories to life and elevate awareness across the community. This is your opportunity to shape conversations, shift perspectives, and help people See Differently.
The Opportunity:
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll plan, create and publish high-quality digital content that drives community engagement, supports fundraising, and elevates awareness of services that empower South Australians living with vision loss and veterans living with PTSD.
From concept to capture, copywriting to publishing, reels to long-form impact stories, you'll be the creative heart and soul behind our digital presence.
Responsibilities:
* Producing high-quality digital assets: videos, reels, interviews, case studies, podcast snippets, graphics, photography and infographics.
* Managing content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, including scheduling, publishing and community engagement.
* Delivering EDMs, website content, blogs, articles, event communications and campaign assets.
* Developing and maintaining content strategies and calendars for digital communications and publications.
* Coordinating design, video and photography briefs and working with creative suppliers.
* Reporting on content performance, using analytics to guide future decisions.
* Leading the creation of key publications including Connect, Woof, Pupstars and In The Loop.
Skills and experience:
You're a natural storyteller with strong digital instincts, someone who can switch between strategic thinking and hands-on creation with ease. You will also bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or similar.
* 5+ years' experience in digital content, communications, or marketing, ideally in the NFP, disability, health or community sector.
* Proven experience producing and publishing high-quality digital content across social, web, email and print.
* Strong writing, editing and narrative development skills with a human-centred approach.
* Practical experience capturing and producing video content (short or long-form).
* Ability to create accessible content aligned with WCAG standards.
* Experience using Canva, Hootsuite, CMS (WordPress), MailChimp and analytics tools.
* Excellent organisation, time management and project coordination skills.
* A passion for using your craft to make a real, meaningful social impact.
