About The Business

The MTW Mine is the largest open‑cut operation in the region, employing approximately 1,450 people who reside in the local and surrounding communities.
Job Tasks And Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to support our Health Safety and Training (HST) team whilst working Monday to Friday. Reporting to the HST Manager you will provide support to the HST team to ensure a high level of safety and compliance standards are maintained across the operations as well as contributing to achieving plan‑on‑a‑page targets and building an inclusive safety culture that enhances the Yancoal – Our Way.
Skills And Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Previous experience in Budgeting and forecasting
* Advanced experience in Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
* Demonstrated understanding of document control processes and systems
* Effective time management, coordination, scheduling and record keeping skills
* Ability to work independently, with initiative and flexibility
* Ability to communicate and liaise effectively across a variety of stakeholders
* Self‑starter with the ability to prioritise and organise effectively whilst maintaining confidentiality
* Ability to problem solve effectively
* Well‑developed communication style both verbal and written
* Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable)
* Knowledge of Pegasus Onsite Track Easy (desirable)
* SAP experience (desirable)
