The Roster & Camp 8:6 FIFO ex Brisbane Flights and site transfers provided in company time Modern camp with good meals, Wi-Fi, gym and recreation facilities Short daily commute from camp to work areas The Role Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will support the geotechnical function across both established and developing underground areas. Duties include: Ground monitoring, inspections and hazard identification Collecting geotechnical data, QA/QC and updating records Contributing to ground support reviews and geotechnical design discussions Supporting seismic awareness and basic interpretation Working autonomously day-to-day, with mentoring available from senior geotech staff Providing geotechnical input to Technical Services and production teams Job Requirements Degree in Geotechnical, Mining, or Civil Engineering Minimum 1 year of underground hard-rock mining experience Strong safety awareness and communication skills Ability to work autonomously with willingness to take direction when needed Foundational understanding of rock mechanics Positive attitude and motivation to grow into a fully-rounded Geotechnical Engineer Salary & Benefits Competitive base salary (dependent on experience) Superannuation applicable incentives Stable employment with long-life operation Strong pathways for technical development and career progression Why Apply?
