Hooligan Animation is seeking expressions of interest from talented Storyboard Artists for the 2D animated series.
What You'll Be Doing
* Create clear, engaging storyboards from scripts and creative direction
* Develop strong staging, composition, acting and camera language
* Interpret story beats and pacing for animated sequences
* Collaborate closely with directors and the wider production team
* Adhere to strict studio file naming conventions and production workflows
* Deliver work to production deadlines and quotas
Requirements
* Experience storyboarding for 2D animation productions
* Strong understanding of visual storytelling, cinematography and character acting
* Toon Boom Storyboard Pro is essential
* Strong draftsmanship and composition skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Work directly with directors to refine sequences and storytelling
* Maintain organised project files and version control throughout production
* Ensure boards are clear and production-ready for downstream departments
Location
This role is fully studio-based at our Brisbane studio.
