About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and recovery‐oriented Lived and Living Experience Educator to join the Mental Health Learning & Teaching team. Working alongside Clinical Educators, the educator will co‐produce and co‐facilitate training for the mental health and wellbeing workforce. A key focus of the role is to support recovery implementation across the service through training and coaching the workforce in the Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM). The role promotes training, education, research, evidence‐based knowledge translation and positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
* Co‐produce and co‐facilitate training sessions for the mental health and wellbeing workforce.
* Support implementation of the Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM) by training and coaching staff.
* Promote and facilitate training, education, research, and evidence‐based knowledge translation.
* Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with collaborative recovery principles.
Qualifications
* Personal lived experience as a consumer or family/carer navigating mental health services, demonstrating empathy and understanding of the impact of mental health challenges.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or extensive education and training experience.
* Experience with Collaborative Recovery Model (CRM) training or willingness to complete it.
* Intentional Peer Support (IPS) Training or willingness to complete it.
* Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent experience in a designated lived and living experience role.
* Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire, influence and motivate staff and contribute to a positive learning culture.
* Ability to work autonomously with strong organisational, critical thinking, problem‐solving and prioritisation skills.
* Current Victorian driver's licence.
