About the Role
The Contracts Administrator (Facilities & Construction) is a full‐time, hands‐on role responsible for contract administration and commercial support across facilities, maintenance and construction projects. Reporting to the GM, Facilities & Fleet, you will ensure contracts are well managed, costs are controlled and documentation is accurate, while supporting the successful delivery of projects across a national operational footprint.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and manage construction and facilities contracts across national projects
* Track cost, variations, claims and payment certifications
* Maintain accurate contract, cost and document control systems
* Support procurement and tender processes
* Identify and upscale contractual and commercial risks
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors and airport stakeholders
* Provide timely reporting to support GM and leadership decision making
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in contract administration within construction, building or facilities environments
* Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks and project cost management
* Experience managing payment claims, variations and contract documentation
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and record‐keeping capabilities
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to identify risks, interpret contracts and provide clear, practical advice
* Strong time‐management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
* Experience with contract or tender management systems (desirable)
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Contracts, Law, Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience) (desirable)
* Experience working in complex or regulated environments (e.g. airports, infrastructure, or operational facilities) is highly regarded
