ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the National Services Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of routine and corrective maintenance services while leading a team of Service Technicians and support personnel.
You will oversee service operations, customer relationships, team development, business performance and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the WA Service team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
* Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
* Manage service delivery, maintenance schedules and operational performance
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders
* Identify opportunities for business growth through existing and new customer relationships
* Oversee spare parts, stock management and service-related procurement activities
* Review team performance, conduct development discussions and support training initiatives
* Prepare business reports and contribute to strategic planning activities
* Ensure service assets, equipment and tools are maintained and fit for purpose
* Meet agreed operational, financial and safety KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a field service, maintenance or service management environment
* Proven leadership experience managing service teams
* Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing budgets, reporting and business performance metrics
* Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
* Tertiary Qualification in Management
* Experience within water treatment, industrial services, mining, utilities or related industries
* Cert III or IV in Water industry operations – Highly Desirable
