Job Description
This 12-month ECC Internship offers an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced Emergency and Critical Care clinicians in a busy, well-equipped hospital.
As An ECC Intern, You Will
* Assist with emergency cases and critical care management
* Work as a primary clinician under supervision
* Participate in diagnostics, treatment planning, and post-operative care
* Work a flexible roster that includes evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays
* Engage in structured learning including journal club, tutorials, and case presentations
* Receive one-on-one mentoring and support from ECC specialists and senior clinicians
* Be part of a passionate, friendly team committed to delivering high-quality care and supporting your professional development.
About You
* A veterinary degree (DVM, BVSc or equivalent) recognised in Australia
* Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of Victoria
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Proven ability to work well in a team environment
* A proactive, hands‐on approach to patient care
* Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
* Previous clinical experience or a rotating internship is desirable but not essential

This role is available to commence in February 2027 although the start date can be flexible if needed.
