Our client is one of the fastest growing Civil Contractors in South East Queensland, seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Estimator to join their estimation team. You will be involved in tendering projects up to $100 million, coordinating estimation activities, allocating resources, and liaising with clients. The scope includes all aspects of civil construction such as roads, structures, major civil infrastructure, NDRRA works, water, drainage, and DTMR infrastructure.
Opportunity
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
Develop competitive bid proposals with the precontracts manager.
Provide documentation and cost summaries for reviews.
Negotiate contracts post-tender.
Maintain and develop client relationships.
Stay informed about industry standards.
Requirements
Demonstrable estimation experience in civil construction.
Experience tendering on roads (DTMR, Council, Mine) and major infrastructure.
Engineering or construction background.
Knowledge of Australian civil infrastructure.
Exposure to estimation software; training can be provided.
Experience with first principles estimating.
