The Opportunity
As an Agitator Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering concrete to customers. You will operate specialized vehicles called agitators, ensuring timely and safe transportation of concrete from plants to construction sites.
This role requires attention to safety, responsibility, and dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to various locations.
Follow prescribed delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries to construction sites.
Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, both on the road and at job sites.
Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with clients.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
* Valid and clean HR driver's license.
* Proven experience as a professional driver with minimum 6 months on-road HR experience; ideally with experience in operating agitator trucks.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
* Physical ability to load and unload concrete as necessary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
* A strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.
* Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
