Bridgetown Bush Fire Brigade – Bridgetown WA
Bush Fire Brigade volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local communities are safe. The Catering & Welfare Officer supports brigade members during incidents, training, and community activities by helping maintain operational readiness and member wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare meals and refreshments for training courses and emergencies.
* Delivery of food and drinks to fire ground personnel.
* Monitor and maintain stock levels of welfare supplies and replenish as required.
* Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the brigade kitchen, including fridges, freezers, benches and storage areas.

Time Required: Approximately 2‐4 hours per month, with increased activity during major incidents. Attendance at monthly brigade meetings.
Training: All training and personal protective clothing & equipment is provided. New members are required to complete basic training.
