Job Overview:
The Operations Manager role at our organisation requires strong leadership skills, including communication, delegation, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Certificate III in Civil Construction or relevant experience, working knowledge of road, drainage, and bridge construction and maintenance, and a commitment to achieving organisational outcomes through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities include construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, footpaths, cycleways, and storm-water drainage networks, providing construction and maintenance services to transport assets, delivering planned maintenance programs, delivering capital works projects, emergency/disaster response and repair, and coordinating work crews to deliver services on transport assets.
* Deliver construction and maintenance services to transport assets
* Provide leadership and coordination to ensure effective delivery of services
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in construction and maintenance
