Cleaner Job Description
This is a permanent full-time position at our remote community school. As the largest remote community school in the state, we cater to the educational needs of all school-aged children in the community, and classes range from Pre-Kindergarten (children aged 0–3 years old) to Year 12.
Job Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, bathroom cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal and other items of general cleaning. In addition to this, they will also perform external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other such duties as required.

Selection Criteria:
