Discover our casually sophisticated restaurant nestled in the charming locale of Byron Bay. What we’re looking for: We are looking for an experienced Chef / Cook to join our agile team in a full-time position. We are seeking someone who is experienced, passionate, driven and who can lead a team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Designing menus, calculating food, and procuring food supplies
- Supervising dish quality throughout preparation and presentation
- Consulting with kitchen staff and servers about food preparation matters
- Demonstrating methods and providing guidance on cooking techniques
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Educating on and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
What You Need:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience working in a fast pace, high-volume restaurant
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding customer relations
Salary Expectation: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum
