We’re looking for a Lead Kerb Finisher to take charge behind the machine and guide a small team of 2–3 finishers. If you’re someone who takes pride in neat work, likes working with a solid team, and wants a company that respects your time and skill — you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing the finishing work behind the kerb machine, ensuring it is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Leading and supporting a small team of 2‑3 finishers
- Training up future kerb finishers
- Completing a range of finishing tasks, including:
- Running profile tools
- Cutting and finishing expansion joints
- Installing and finishing kerb adapters
- Installing bitumen board
- Cutting out and finishing driveways, pram ramps and kerb modifications
- Installing form work for hand pours
- Pouring and finishing transitions, bullnoses, corners, link‑ups and hook‑ons
- Ensuring work meets council/TMR requirements and is finished to a high standard
- Keeping the site clean and packed down each day
- Looking after equipment, reporting issues and maintaining a safe site
- Maintaining positive communication with both the team and clients
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years as a Leading Hand on a civil site
- At least 2 years concreting experience — kerb and channel ideal but not essential
- Confidence finishing both machine‑laid and hand‑poured kerb (preferred)
- Someone who cares about detail and takes pride in their work
- Solid knowledge of concrete and finishing processes
- Reliable, valuable communicator, able to manage time well
- Current driver’s licence (Manual preferred)
- Construction White Card
- PPE (long pants, long‑sleeve hi‑vis, hard hat, steel caps)
