Manager Planning Environment - North West Queensland The Opportunity Join a progressive Local Government in North West Queensland as Manager of Planning Environment.
In this key leadership role you will be responsible for driving the Planning and Environment functions across the region.
Reporting to the Director Infrastructure and Environment, you will lead a multidisciplinary team overseeing town planning, environmental health, waste management, and compliance functions to support sustainable growth and community wellbeing.
What's On Offer * $115K to $125K per annum + super * Full-time role * Locality allowance * Housing provided * Assistance with relocation * 5 weeks annual leave (17.5% loading) * 15 days sick leave * Monthly RDO * Superannuation contributions About You You're an experienced planning or environmental professional with a strong understanding of Local Government operations, legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
You're a confident leader who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment, with the ability to balance strategic direction, operational management, and stakeholder engagement.
