About the role:
This role will suit an Associate or Senior Associate who is confident across Wills & Estates and ready to step into a role with more ownership.
* Work across estate planning, including wills, enduring powers of attorney, appointments of enduring guardian and succession advice.
* Manage deceased estate matters, including probate, letters of administration and estate distribution (with the ideal candidate being able to take the lead on these matters going forward)
* Assist with some trust-related advice, including trust structures, succession issues and related estate planning considerations.
* Some contested estates focus.
* Guide junior lawyers and contribute to growing the practice.
The ideal candidate:
* 4+ years PQE practicing in Wills & Estates.
* Confident across estate planning and deceased estate administration.
* Able to manage files autonomously.
* Strong client management skills and a practical, calm approach.
* Interested in growing into a lead role across deceased estate matters.
