At Lives Lived Well, we've been treating and supporting people whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drugs for over 50 years. We also support people with mental health and gambling concerns and those transitioning from correctional centres. We're growing fast and building a reputation as a trusted, innovative provider, focused on clinical excellence.
Logan House provides a safe, supportive, and structured residential environment designed to help individuals overcome drug and alcohol challenges. Our comprehensive six‐week treatment programme accommodates up to 30 clients at any given time, offering a complete continuum of care from initial contact through to reintegration into the community. We aim to inspire genuine, long‐lasting change, equipping clients with the tools and strategies they need to successfully navigate recovery and sustain a healthy lifestyle.
This is a full‐time permanent position. The salary is $100,000 – $105,000 (depending on skills and experience), plus superannuation, salary‐packaging benefits and a range of discounted products via Perkbox.
Responsibilities
* Engage and support clients in ongoing case management, group facilitation, and treatment of AOD dependency and associated factors within a residential setting.
* Walk alongside clients and celebrate with them when they achieve their goals, helping to develop capacity and confidence.
* Work the late shift (12:00‐20:00) once per week as part of a rotating schedule. All other shifts are scheduled from 08:00‐16:00.
* Manage day‐to‐day duties while working cohesively within a team of Treatment Facilitators in a high‐demand environment.
* Provide high‐quality engagement, assessment, counselling, and support services to clients, balancing autonomy and efficiency.
* Utilise evidence‐based practice principles for withdrawal, support, and recovery.
* Work with clients to develop, implement, and review individual treatment goals.
* Manage a caseload of clients, providing clinical support, service coordination, referral, and advocacy.
* Supervise and manage risk where practicable, related to clients residing in a residential treatment context—including high‐level complexity and dual diagnosis behavioural management.
* Facilitate group work and processes autonomously, taking sole responsibility for challenging behaviour, efficacy blockers, and detractive dynamics.
* Develop program resources and key documents that support clinical and operational functioning.
* Provide culturally appropriate practice as relevant to varying clients.
* Apply knowledge in contemporary evidence‐based AOD clinical practice.
* Demonstrate expertise in residential treatment service delivery with a sound knowledge of the potential risk elements specific to this type of environment.
* Develop and deliver education programmes and group facilitation with AOD clients.
Qualifications
* Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, including a Bachelor in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or a related discipline.
* Membership or eligibility for membership with a relevant professional body such as Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is highly desirable.
* Hold a current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and a Blue Card (or the ability to apply).
